August’s Offerings

Feeling powerful? Energetic? Maybe even courageous? You feel like you can win it all. You feel like you have had enough and you are about to do something rash. You are over it and you are about to let everyone know it. Maybe you finally have the nerve to conquer your fear about a certain thing. Well, it’s August and the energy is certainly high. It’s been a year! For some all working out well, for others not so much, and then those who are in between highs and lows. Before you do anything, think it through and then make your move. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just need to have a few key things in place and trust God for the rest. Trust that everything you need and need to know will appear at the right time.

If at all possible, negotiate and be clear in your communication. What do you want? What do you not want? What will you no longer tolerate? And what price are you willing to pay for your freedom, peace or change? How will what you chose affect those closest to you and will that create tension? I mean, sometimes it will and maybe it will have to. If you decide to go vegan and also demand your family do the same, there may be kickbacks. There may be revolt. Who wins? Maybe you want to walk into your job and say, “You know what? The hell away with this job!” But your spouse or significant other may not appreciate that news when they arrive home from a long day’s work. So, let’s think and move. Not think ourselves into fear or talk ourselves out of it. Because trust me, it is TIME FOR CHANGE.
