Don’t drift too far into the past or the future because all you really have is now.

The past and future has its place in our lives. You learn from the past. The past can hold great memories that bring us joy and warmth to the heart. Thinking about the future can help us map out our now so we can manifest it and create.

It’s only when we get into the negative of the past and begin to ruminate in it that can bring us pain, sadness, and fear. It’s the same for the future. When we get into the what ifs and imagining the disaster and despair. If you find yourself going down this path of thought, stop, take three deep breaths and turn around. Come back to the now. Thank the past. Thank the future and reroute your thoughts back to the now.

Now is all I have

Now, I recall the lessons of the past that help me in my now and future

Now, I imagine a better and brighter future

Now, I know what to do

Now, solutions come to me to help me solve any problem

Now, I have wisdom

Now, I am present and observe the blessings all around me

It’s something I’ve been working on for many years…probably most of my adult life, but intentionally for at least a few years. I’ve been trying to live more in the now. It isn’t always easy, but it’s so liberating.
