Notebook entry 5/18/25

I learned some things about myself concerning my financial system:

  1. I lack discipline. While I have some discipline, it’s not enough.
  2. My plan is not working well because it isn’t a good plan.
  3. I have not addressed how I feel about money.
  4. I should save $1,000 first.
  5. I believe I can recover financially at this late stage in the game. Why? Because others did. Because God let me know the other day watching birds in my yard eat worms at 10 am. The message:”Late” birds still eat!

These things came to me because I have given my body, my mind, my spirit, time to rest. Clarity concerning finances has come after watching a video on finances. I am grateful.

End of notebook entry.

It’s an important question: How do I feel about money? And yes ‘late birds’ still get to eat.

Dave Ramsey’s Baby Step Number One is to save $1,000 to cover little emergencies. Great insights, and you’re thinking the right things. Well done.
