Let’s just say things may be going a little or a lot awry in your life and in your inner being. Let’s say you can’t tell if it’s from without affecting or infecting within or if it’s the inside affecting or infecting the outerworld. I happen to believe it can be either. And what you have now is much noise in life. Life is noisy this month. I have, many have suffered from grief and before you can even grasp the concept of someone or something leaving, transcending, or change, you are hit with another grievance. Be it worldly, or interpersonal, it’s happening and it’s happening at record speeds.
Chaos gets our attention. Chaos is saying we have let too many things slide. Chaos is saying we are in the wrong place as a society and individually. Chaos is asking for calm. It is asking for direction. It is asking for leadership. And where direction and leadership is required, so are difficult decisions. What is it that you need to “get a hold on?” What difficult decisions and disciplines are being asked of you?
Is it finances and your spending? Is it your health? Is it your mind? Is it relationships? It’s time to regain order in our minds and bodies and in the world we live in. I don’t know what you can do about war but you should find something to do about it. Maybe find something to do about the war, the disaster in your own community. Maybe to do something about the war and disaster within. Usually, it starts with surveying the damage. As you survey the damage in your inner world, estimate the cost.
Will it cost you time, money, relationships, pleasure to rebuild or build? Will it cost you pride? Start small. What habits need to be rebooted and which ones need to be booted to make room for new habits or routines? Think on these things. I recently didn’t like the report I received from my lab work. Who’s fault was this? It is mine. I must do better. I have to. I was not doing enough and I start today doing better. It’s going to cost me pleasure and time. I removed some people from my social media pages as they had become steeped in conspiracy and the support of what I consider evil. Because “how can you hate your brother whom you see everyday and love me whom you have never seen?”-God. Pretty twisted thinking in my very humble opinion.
Rebuild. And when you rebuild, build it better. Rebuild the old if it were serving you well and build it better. If it was not serving you well, take this opportunity to build something new! Something different. Be still and listen for instructions. It can be intimidating. It can be scary. But it can also be adventurous. It can be exciting once you move in spite of the nerves.
Speaking of nerves, when we are on edge or what my elders call, “a nervous wreck” too long it really does take a toll on our physical and mental health. It can literally put our lives in jeopardy. We must calm the nervous system. We must call in and wait for clarity to come. We must reconnect with our SOURCE and there are various ways to do that. We must gently bring order to our inner court so we can begin or continue whatever process we are in.
