No! Not the roots of your hair but the roots to your thoughts and habits you wish you to change. I have to make sure you understand when I say I am doing some “root work” you don’t think I am talking about “hoo doo” because that is something of another topic. I am talking about getting to the root of the fruit (manifestation) of some thoughts, feelings, and habits that are causing problems in my life. We often try to fix the fruit (the thought, feeling, habit) without an investigation into the cause.
For some of us, it’s just to painful, shameful to think about the root of problem. For others, it’s too much work we would have to do to fix the root. Either one of these will keep us stuck in the patterns of the thoughts, feelings, and habits. As I once did a month or so about the power of decision making, you have to decide if you want to change or grow or not. I myself no longer want to struggle financially. So, that is my root work this year. And some other things.
Root work is challenging. But I imagine the feeling of an improved financial state will be worth it. I hope you are brave enough, courageous enough, humble (teachable) enough to have your roots exposed and to do the work to produce the fruits you want to see in your life.
