This month for me is about shifting gears. The thought of that would normally deplete my energy but, I am approaching it with a different mindset. I am shifting mindsets. I am shifting positions. Soft productivity is ramping up.

I am completing one healing goal and then it’s on to the next. I thought I was going to read this book, do the work and be done. Nope. God said there is more. I wanted to complain but, God reminded me that “I asked to be healed, to be free from this trauma once and for all. So, there is more work to do.

This month has some chaotic energy. There is an energy of spending time with family and also wanting some alone time. There is an energy of tradition and an energy of breaking away. There is an energy of independence and an energy of depending on friends and family for support. WHEW! There are people that want to meddle, play the victim in public and the villain in private. Emotions are running wild and high. People, including you, may be overly sensitive. SO, BREATHE. TAKE BIG DEEP BREATHS and walk away to gather yourself. There is a nurturing energy to take care of family and home. Do not forget about yourself. You cannot be everything to everybody.

Also, you will need to accept everybody where they are in life. You need to accept where you are in your life. You cannot live other people’s lives. This is hard for some because you want to protect them. This is hard for some because you may have to accept that a person or family will never change. They are who they are and no amount of prayer, counseling, etc. will change a person whose mind has been seared with a hot iron. But what you can do is change how you deal with them and how you respond to them.

Personally, I am determined to heal from childhood trauma this year. No matter what it takes and no matter the cost. I will be free and I will be whole in that area.
