What time is it?!!!!! No, it’s not time to get wild and loose (reference Morris Day). But it’s time for deep rest and reset. It’s time to go deep within to depths of YOU and YOUR soul. It’s time to connect to our CREATOR, to PLUG IN to our HIGHER POWER and higher self. Oh, yeah, it’s going to be a good time!
With my megaphone in hand, “This is NOT a time for big action and rushing people!” This is a time to plan the steps of your actions all winter long. We are talking not just goals but we are quietly building systems around each goal or idea. You know what you want to do. But how are you going to do it? What system, routine, habit will you build around it to keep you moving? THIS is what we are doing for the rest of December, January, February, and partially of March. I beseech thee to observe and follow nature, the Holy Spirit, and your intuition/gut/spirit/solar plexus. Think of this time as light work and “light” work.
Light work as in no heavy lifting, big gigantic, crazy ridiculous, outrageous actions that will have you burnt out by Spring. We are thinking what will sustain us. You want to lift 100 lbs in the New Year. Ok. Do you walk into a gym and start lifting 100 lbs or do you work your way up to it? Let’s say you don’t do weights. No. You map out a plan to get there and you may start at 25lbs. Plans and light work. Researching your goals and dreams. Putting together the master plan so you can master the plan.
“Light” work as in immersing in this dark time to do your best, your greatest, inner work immerging around spring time with a head start on a better version of you spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. More stability. New boundaries and consequences for those that don’t adhere to the boundaries. This can be a great transformation period IF you allow it. If you call the midwife (midwife as in the Holy Spirit, a therapist, a self help book) to help you do some work on you! Because you can’t change them but, you can change and help yourself (while dealing with them).
More to come on the energy and season of winter.
Stay warm and cozy and hygge vibes to you
~Nikki
