During this September Sabbatical and Solutions, meditation has been a very powerful tool. I wish more people would become less skeptical and more adventurous in learning how to meditate. There are many avenues to meditation. You don’t have to cross your legs, sit on the ground, or chant. Those ideas are antiquated and out of touch. They always have been.

During meditation, my mind was cleared and I gained insight and solutions. I gained wisdom that I could apply immediately and for the future. It helped me to be at peace and it helped me become aware of areas in my body where I was carrying trauma or just negative energy. The power of mediation in my life has been a saving grace for times when I am unsettled. It helps to take the edge off or bring me down a notch. It gives me pause to try to wrap my mind around things.

I also use meditation second or first thing in the morning. Most of the time I pray first and then meditate or read. But sometimes I meditate first and then pray. I hope that you can begin to give meditation 1 minute of your life. Go stare out of the window for one minute.
