It’s my 11th year blogging anniversary! Wow! 11 is one of my favorite numbers. It’s a master number (so is 22) and it reminds me that God is with me. This is the first thing I wanted to express gratitude about. I also want YOU to know I am grateful YOU alongside of me as readers and bloggers who read. I truly enjoy writing. I’m putting more effort into getting some of my work published as some of you may know I am self published author but, I would like to be published in the traditional sense. I know have the gift of writing and being a best selling author is a dream I want to manifest.
Now, the second thing. Open Up October business. TAKE A CHARGE. We’ve been talking about the constant “taking” energy of October. You know, people leaving the earth realm, situations taking a turn for the not so pleasant, the upheaval of life. Are you feeling sluggish or depleted? Do you feel sleepy earlier than usual? Maybe you need to take a charge.
The other day a man working on my neighbor’s house was having trouble with his work truck. It wouldn’t start. Long story short, he need his battery charged. When the weather changes from warm to cold, it can affect the battery. It was chilly that morning. The battery relies on electrochemical reaction to work and when it’s really cold or a sudden change in temperature occurs, it can slow down this process. Another neighbor came to help him with a battery charger.
As I sat on my porch I thought about Charles Wesley’s hymn, A Charge to Keep I Have. I researched the hymn and it was based off Leviticus 8:35. It’s the duality of this situation for me. Sometimes we need a boost off. Sometimes we need our batteries charged and we need to make sure we stay charged. When we are charged we can help boost or charge others.
Also, a charge or instructions you have been given by God, the Creator, like your life’s mission is a “charge” you must keep. Your special instructions for YOUR life, YOUR unique life, must be kept in the midst of times of turmoil and confusion. Yes, we may need to break, to rest, to sleep, to take some time off and away to CHARGE in order to KEEP our CHARGE. We come back charged to help others when they are losing or have lost their power.
