Tough meat: Breaking some generational curses in some families may look like NOT being false prophets, hustlers and swindlers of the Word of God and God’s people. That hustling, lying, deceitful, egotistical spirit runs deep in some families and spills into every area. In order to break that curse you’ve got to have courage and faith. You’ve got to be bold. Put on the whole armor not to shrink back but, to be prepared for the attacks and victory at the same time.
In conversation about the practices of some, I began to get angry. Those cheesy, gimmicky, self-righteous, individuals really get underneath my skin. So much so, I’d really like to lose my cool with them and become unfiltered in my choice of words. Oh, the things I want to say! If only I could slap them into repentance or glory, either one, it would relieve my “ANGER” towards them. I want one of them to “get wrong” with me. I am ready! All the things I have said in my head. All of the things I have said aloud. I am waiting for it to unload.
AND THIS IS WHY GOD WILL NOT LET IT HAPPEN LIKE THIS.
After hearing about an incident that got my blood boiling, the next day I hear Bishop Jakes say, “The wrath of man worketh not righteousness.” I stopped what I was doing and said, “Oh?” And then I said, “Ohhhhhhh”. What good will unleashing my wrath on a CON do? Why not, if the opportunity presents itself, unleash the TRUTH instead? With authority. Authority is a form of love. Somebody needs to stand up to these bullies/cons. It is the truth that sets the captive free. And in this instance, Con artists and false prophets pretty much enjoy their game, it is I who would be set free. They can’t say no one ever told them what they pretend not to know.
