
And by party, I mean exercise. Exercise does the same thing as dancing because dancing can be used as a form of exercise. It boosts moods. It releases chemicals that alter the feeling in your body. It opens up your mind. And I say, it moves the low energy or heavy energy around and out of your body. When your body feels better your mind follows and vice versa. I know when I am feeling depressed, I feel heavy, slow, lethargic. When I am anxious, I feel tense and tight. But these feelings in the body can come from stress, overwhelm, work, parenting, caregiving, gief, relationships, etc.
Taking a walk can clear your head or calm you down. It can also give you energy if intensely done just like biking. Or you can leisurely take a bike ride to do the same as walking to clear your mind.
Exercise is not just for the body, it’s for the mind and mood.
