I think this is the perfect word to describe this season of Spring and this season in our lives. Lively, as we awake from the slumber of winter. Signs of life, vitality, as the hustle and bustle speeds up. More outside activities are on the rise. Vibrancy, like the flowers I just put into my flower bed (I hope they make it!). So, zoetic!

What about your spirit? What about your soul? Are you feeling zoetic? At times, I am. At times I feel the fire of life. The zest of being alive. The vibrancy in bright flowers, spring and summer clothing, the palette of a spring or summer dish, and in the fruits and veggies of this time of the year. People smile more on those cool and breezy, sunshiny days. I sure do hope we can experience more “life” in our lives despite the troubles of the world, in our countries, and in our cities. I sure do hope we can describe some things this spring and summer as ZOETIC. Maybe watching fireworks or feeling fireworks as you look into your lover’s eyes. Maybe watching children play or babies laugh. There is a richness in this “zoetic” word that I cannot pinpoint but, I know you know it when you feel it and perhaps when you see it in someone. I think I am going to use this word as often as I can this spring and summer.
