Not my work

Colors and numbers have spiritual meanings. Some look to their religion, such as Christians looking to the Bible to explain the symbolism of a color or number. I wanted to say that immediately because I know how many Christians are resistant to anything outside of their religion. I can’t speak for any other religion because I have not chosen that religion. Moving on…

I noticed a few years back that when my birthday would draw near I would start to gravitate towards certain colors. I already understood the psychology behind colors evoking certain feelings (for you who enjoy science). I do take interest in numerology and that is what it is called even if you are Christian discussing the significance of the 7 days of creation or the 3 days concerning resurrection. This year the colors for me came with a print. The colors are black, red, and cheetah print.

I explained the cheetah print significance for ME in this post: https://nikkisconfettilife.com/2024/02/11/sunday-morning-coffee-musings-god-you-are-so-weird/

When it comes to the colors black and red I was a little hesitant. I don’t naturally gravitate towards red and I don’t particularly like those colors together.

The spiritual meaning of black is associated with mystery, elegance, wealth, restraint and power. A person that loves black is a person that is bold, unique, mysterious, intriguing and powerful. You are a person that constantly strives after strength, intensity, authority and elegance. Your black spirituality attracts and brings you protection, comfort, authority and sophistication. The colour black can help to bring you a feeling of mystery and rebellion.

Adding a balance of black into your life will aid to create an inconspicuous feeling, boosting confidence in appearance, increasing the sense of potential and possibility.

As I did my research, this one resonated with me as the red one below did. However, it was “pops” of red that came to me. Not too much but just enough.

The color red represents passion, sensuality, bravery, and the attribute of fire. When you wish to embrace the energy of fire, use red, for example, when you’re working on the new creative endeavor, with your loving relationship, or when you need an extra boost of boldness and confidence. When you see a red spiritual sign in your life, it usually means you’re ready to tackle a new goal or endeavor you’ve been putting off. “Have the guts to act, and we’ll take care of the rest,” the spiritual message concludes. – https://unifycosmos.com/red/

When I put these things together for my life, it makes sense for the year. It makes sense because I know what personal year I am in. I am going to need to move with elegance. I need to show restraint but also remember my power. I am wealth and wealth is one of my goals. (More than just money). I will have to draw upon my strength and walk in my authority as a unique vessel in the earth. Not only am I protected and comforted, I am a protector and comforter.

When I wear red, I do feel powerful and passion. I feel sensual. But it was given to me to wear it doses or in “pops” of color. Red shoes, red accessories and occasionally, a red dress or pants suit. The same thing with the cheetah print.

Black can also be a grounding color. Red can represent the root chakra and that is a whole other conversation for another day.
