Sunday Morning Coffee Musings: Somethings Aren’t For You To Understand

Here are some things I have discovered aren’t for me to understand:

How other people decide to live their life

How other cultures/races do this or that

How some people raise their children

Why some people like certain foods

Why people like certain celebrities

How people decide to express themselves with fashion

How people wear their hair

What religion people decide to gravitate towards

Why some people like certain genres of film and movies

I simply don’t care because I like what I like and do what I do and I could care less if anyone “understands” it. Everyone doesn’t have to like what I like, do what I do. Who am I to think people should dress like me or wear their hair like I like I wear mine? Who decided that their way or their culture did things the “right” way? Well, I “undecide” it lol It’s amusing we say be yourself, express yourself, be free, do you but the moment someone does we have a problem with it. We aren’t talking hatred or hatefulness or evil. We are talking about the personality and freedom we should all have. We are talking being ourselves and allowing others to be themselves. I don’t know but how about we try to appreciate the diversity among us maybe even learn from each other. How about we become curious and respectful of each other’s freedom and culture instead of thinking our way is the only way to exist.
