I love to go makeup dumpster diving! You walk in to get groceries and there in the middle of the aisle and a shining light from a makeup angel in heaven…ah yes, divine intervention! lol
I got this Maybelline lipstick, violet vixen 830, for 2.00! The regular price was 5.99. I loved it so much I had to take several selfies as you can see.
Is that all Nikki? Of course not! I checked my budget and made room for these other goodies. All of the lipsticks/glosses were 2.00 and the lip glosses were originally 8.99! I love the midnight blue color. Yes, very bold. Well, that’s it for the makeup dumpster dive! I had makeup all over my hands when I finished searching! It was a dirty job, but someone had to do it!
It’s not dots but it reminds of 101 dalmations! So cute! I love this Liz Claiborne Blouse and I paired it with a brightly designed purse to give the entire outfit a splash of color. I am also wearing Liz Claiborne shoes. Both the shoes and the blouse came from JC Penny and were on clearance.
In this photo I wore the necklace I posted which was from Talbots. A 59.99 deal for 11.85. Shopping clearance is awesome. I did a little makeup and yes that is my natural hair color.
So here I wanted to be comfortable for an evening of hanging outside with friends. It is fall and the weather will be cooler as night creeps in. I put my white T-shirt, with a white jean jacket (since I don’t abide my the after Labor Day Rule of no white…some rules are meant to be broken!) from Jones New York Outlet for $27 in 2015. I paired them with jeans, my “chucks” or Converse (which were an $80 pair of shoes I got from Urban Outfitters on clearance for $30 a few years ago). My coach purse is from the Coach Outlet as well! Every thing in this photo was on sale, marked down or clearance.
I wanted to show how you how I shopped my closet and made another outfit by removing pieces and adding pieces.
Same pair of jeans and white T-shirt, but I removed the jean jacket and added a black knit sweater and wedged ankle boots. Easy! A casual date night outfit or out with friends and family to dinner. And yes…the Aerosoles shoes were on sale. (Very comfy for those of us with RA and Fibromyalgia).
Talk about an amazing deal! I caught this dress on sale at Steinmart for 44.95 and then….brace yourself…received another 50% off!!! Yes I shop the clearance racks any chance I get! I am girl on a budget! I got this back in the spring I believe.
I wore this last night to a concert:
Nine West shoes and purse. (Purse from and outlet and shoes from TJMaxx). I am too tired from the concert to check the designer of the dress lol! But I will edit and add later.
These shoes were $12 on clearance @ Burlington’s. A pair of GUESS heels. (I can’t wear them because of a surgery I had last year due to Rheumatoid Arthritis….yes I know I’m too young for that but that’s another blog!). Update…I can wear them! LOL
Oh my! If you are a Fashionista and you walk into TJMaxx with the intention of going to the HOME Department ONLY…Good Luck with that!
I saw the shoes first by Nine West (39.99) and thought oh these are so cute and would be great for Fall and Winter. The wine color is everywhere this season. I took a chance by walking over to the purses and bags. After much holding up purses to see if it matched I finally found one for 24.99! I am going to love mixing and matching the shoes and purse with different outfits! I can’t wait to share with you!
A red dress for $16.99 @ TJMAXX.( I don’t recognize the brand but, I’m not big on brand as much as I am on 1. Quality 2. If I like it!!!).
The beach is one of my favorite places to be. Since I can’t be near it daily I brought it home with me. Oh and turquoise is my favorite color. So, as always within a reasonable budget (clearance, yard sales, etc) and using what I have accumulated on hand, the last picture is of my spruced up nightstands. And both nightstands were deals. One is chipped and was marked down. The other was $10 from someone selling it on Facebook (the round one).
Sharing some style today. The skirt I picked up from a consignment shop. It’s a Coldwater Creek skirt (an excellent brand) and I got it for $8. There necklace and earrings also came grim the consignment shop. About $8 total. Shoes are by Antonio Melani $69 but I got them on clearance for $28. T-shirt fun Target $7
