Let the record show, I am really good at this! (LOL) or just very fortunate to find such great deals to enhance my wardrobe. This Le Suit jacket is a separate and retails from 59.99-79.99 and to get it, and it fits perfectly, for 24.99 was awesome. It will add a big pop of color to outfits. The pants below are by Kasper and I saw them for about 69.99-79.99 printed patterns. 9.99 is what I paid. I wore them for mother’s day as I opted for the cool and casual mom look. I added my 6.98 top from Target, a purse that was a gift from someone years ago, and Nine West shoes from TJ Maxx that I already had in the closet. I really like those shoes.
We took a trip to Iowa and I went to a Goodwill store there. They had coats and Jackets on sale. I paid 13.99 for the St. John’s Bay, lined, double breasted coat on the left and the 5.99 for the corduroy jacket on the right. I will have them dry cleaned and put them away until the Fall/Winter. It pays if you are on a budget to check out some of these shops. I donate clothes to the Goodwill, Salvation Army, and thrift stores. I also consign. My mom always gave and she told us to never give something you wouldn’t want to wear. So, I make sure it’s in good condition and sometimes it’s brand new. There are people out there who do this and that’s how you find some great items. Both of these are excellent quality and excellent condition.
Just a few items from Target clearance. I wanted a few black and white tops for church and other dressy to casual outfits. I think you can do miracles with black and white pieces. It was a challenge to get a great shot of the black sheer blouse! (but it’s so so cute) And I really like the cropped sheer black and white blouse/top.
Essie polish is not cheap. This is why when you find it on clearance or mark down you snatch it up. This was the case at TJMaxx. It was on clearance for 3.00 a bottle. Also the headbands, which I have a hard time finding these were for 2.00 and originally 8.00. I turn the bow to the back and you can’t see it. All are very spring and summery colors.
And I went back to Dillards to search for the hot pink shirt I wanted and it was marked down a little more for 22.40. The original price was 64.00.
This is me Sunday. My shoes are by Nine & Co and I think they were like 5.00 on clearance some years ago, but I can’t remember where. I always thought they were an odd color and a challenge to match. However, I have worn them a few times with jeans or khakis. The back of the shoe is a teal color and I have not found anything to match it. It worked out great for the shirt and a pair of jeans. My lipstick is by MAC “A Girl About Town.”
It’s not dots but it reminds of 101 dalmations! So cute! I love this Liz Claiborne Blouse and I paired it with a brightly designed purse to give the entire outfit a splash of color. I am also wearing Liz Claiborne shoes. Both the shoes and the blouse came from JC Penny and were on clearance.
In this photo I wore the necklace I posted which was from Talbots. A 59.99 deal for 11.85. Shopping clearance is awesome. I did a little makeup and yes that is my natural hair color.
She sports a natural mohawk and minimum makeup (laughing as I type that!). A Vince Camuto dress purchased at the Macy’s in Las Vegas three years ago for…brace yourselves fashionistas….49.99!!! It was on clearance and in my size! I love this dress because it is really a fall dress and gives the fall so much warmth. It has a belt you that you can wear with or without to give the dress a different look. Also, the sleeves can be worn long or 3/4. The gold chain that ties or not, just gives it class and sass. The shoes are Steve Madden and the purse was borrowed from my mom. She purchased it at the Coach Outlet Factory. I love the way this dress moves on me. Vince Camuto is one of my favorite designers.
